U12A Girls
Saturday lunchtime saw our u12 A team make the trip to Granagh . Weather conditions were good right up until kick off. As soon as the game kicked off,the skies opened up and kept pouring all throughout the match.
Granagh were quick off the mark and took the lead in the first few minutes, and doubled the lead to 2 nil with 15 minutes gone. Our girls worked hard in the miserable conditions to level the game at half time, 2-2.
Granagh got the 2nd half off to a great start pushing into a comfortable 5-2 lead with 15 tp go. Broadford United worked so hard and managed to reduce the gap to just one goal with 5 minutes to go. Our girls were unlucky not to level the game, compliments to the Granagh keeper. Full-time score Granagh United 5-4 Broadford United. Huge credit to both teams playing in deplorable conditions. Well done ,Aoibheann Noonan, Abbey Mackessy, Alannah Brosnan, Saoirse Barry, Claire Madden, Shauna White, Katie O Connor, Holly Boyce, Anna Stack, Nicole Dore and Lucie Cussen.

U12B Girls
Our u12 B girls were away to GB rovers on Saturday lunchtime. Conditions were very tough n Ballyhahill with a very wet and very windy day.
The teams were very evenly matched in the 1st half. GB defence was strong andour attack were seriously tested before finally making the breakthrough just before half time. Going in 1 up at half time helped to encourage the girls to power through the terrible weather conditions. A strong second half ended with Broadford scoring another brace to take three points from the game. GB rovers 0-3 Broadford United. Well done Rachel Behan, Sadie Scollard ,Anna Mae Dundon, Elsa Fahy, Robyn Hourigan, Molly O Connor, Lucy Neenan, Amelia Nix and Annie White.
